TAKE-OVER BY CANTINE RIONDO S.p.a.

On 1st October 2009, VINEA S.r.l. was bought by Cantine Riondo S.p.a., a sparkling wine producer wholly owned by the COLLIS VENETO WINE GROUP S.C.A.C., a group of co-operatives which together control around 15% of all Veneto wine production. Vinea S.r.l. will continue to supply existing brands, although the focus will increasingly be on wines from the Veneto region plus a wide range of sparkling wines.

Paolo Grigolli will remain as consultant winemaker for Vinea's own label wines, so the continuity of style and quality of the wines is guaranteed.

A number of the staff have moved over to work at Cantine Riondo S.p.a., under the direction of Mr. Abele Casagrande, in order to continue the service that has built up and maintained a widespread international clientele over the last nearly 10 years of activity.
All at Vinea S.r.l. are convinced that clients will soon begin to feel the benefits of this take-over.
